Eye Exams are fun.

Eye exams ARE fun. 

This was our excited guy back in August. See the legs kicking...

But, Jonah seemed to have forgotten that. He was really nervous about his most recent checkup. 

I still am not sure what it is he is nervous of. Dr. Pierce is incredibly kind and lots of fun. 

We got a great report at our February check up. The doctor says he sees improvement. When we first began "treating" his vision, Jonah was eliminating one of his eyes when he had trouble seeing things up close. Now Dr. Pierce says he is switching from eye to eye. That is exactly what the doctor was hoping for. Now that he knows it is working, he wants us to "up the dosage" on the eye patch. Jonah wears it twice a day now, for 30 minutes at a time. Or for 45-60 minutes at one time if we forget to do it early enough in the day. 

And in keeping with the theme, we put Elizabeth in the Build-A-Bear glasses...
