Our dear buddy, Ben is nine today.
We sure do love him!
To celebrate, he had a bowling party on Sunday. Jonah had never been bowling at a real alley. To say he was cute would be an understatement.To say he loved it would be mild!
The bumpers were up at each lane being used for the party. And the nice lady who worked there also let Jonah use a ramp to give his ball a little more oomph. (he did a couple of turns without it...and it took a loooong time for the ball to get down there). His total score was 70, I believe. Which may be better than MY total score the first time I ever bowled (when I was 11 or 12). At one point he was ahead of Molly by one pin!

(he waited patiently and just observed right up until he discovered the arcade game in the corner...then he was running back and forth every time it was his turn.)
The birthday crowd! Ben sure has a lot of friends. And every one of those boys (at least 20) were very kind well-behaved fellas! We were so glad to join in on his fun day!!
